Expertises Characterization of composite materials, Modeling of composite structures, Dimensional stability, Composites with piezoelectric fibres

Marie-Laure Dano is Associate Professor of Mechanical Engineering at Universite Laval in Québec, Québec, Canada. She has obtained her engineering degree from Université de Technologie de Compiegne in France. She holds a Master and a Ph.D. degree in Engineering Mechanics from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (USA). Next, she was a postdoctoral fellow in the department of civil engineering at University Laval and then obtained a University Faculty Award from NSERC. She is a young researcher who works in the area of the mechanics of composite materials and structures.
