Saving word docs as PDF files in our labs

• Open Word
• When your file is ready, click on the Office icon
• Select Enregistrer sous...
• PDF or XPS"
• Your document will be saved as a PDF in the same location as the original file.

Lost items

Identify your personal effects

         Unfortunately, too many students lose their USB keys, cellphones, books, day planners, pencil cases and more.

         Why not label these items with your student number? Through this number, we can track down your e-mail address and inform you that your item has been found.

• Enter your student number in your contacts

USB keys

         Name your USB key with your student number:

• Connect your USB key to your computer
• Open your desktop
• Select the key (which by default bears the manufacturer’s name) and right-click to rename.

         

• Enter your Poly student number.
