POLYTECHNIQUE STUDENT ID CARD
The student card is required to use several Polytechnique services and is needed for taking exams.  It allows you to gain access to the library Louise-Lalonde-Lamarre, to the school's buildings outside of usual opening hours and to the fitness and recreation centre (CEPSUM). To get your card, come to room C-234.1 (Vitrine étudiante, 2nd floor of the main building)
  • Monday, August 28, Tuesday, August 29 and Thursday, September 7, 2017, 8am-3pm
  • Wednesday, August 30, Tuesday, September 5 and Wednesday, September 6, 2017, 12pm-7pm
BACK-TO-SCHOOL BOOTHS
Members of our team will answer your questions and will orient you during your first days at Polytechnique
  • Main building: 2nd floor, in the Vitrine étudiante
  • Pavillons Lassonde: 1st floor, at the entrance M-1000
  • From Thursday, August 17 to Friday, September 1, 2017, 8am-4pm (except weekends)
LOCKER DISTRIBUTION
A locker can prove useful in winter to store your coat, boots, and other personal effects. Lockers are shared by two students. Your locker partner can be either a friend or a new classmate. You need to present yourselves together.
  • Monday, August 28 and Tuesday, August 29, 2017 9:30am-4pm, on the 1st floor of the Lassonde Pavilions
BOOK FAIR
An activity that allows you to buy second-hand books that are used in Polytechnique courses. Visit the site www.foire.aep.polymtl.ca  (only in French) for more information 
GUIDED TOURS
A different way to discover Polytechnique. The French-language tour includes a visit of the library Louise-Lalonde-Lamarre and important builidings of the campus. The tour will depart in front of room M-1010 (1st floor of the Lassonde buildings)

For individual assistance and ongoing support, our welcoming team at back-to-school booths is available to help you with your search. Ask them for advice!

 WORKSHOP: LA RECHERCHE EFFICACE DE LOGEMENT À MONTRÉAL (ONLY IN FRENCH)
Our experience proves it: the students who follow our workshop find housing within a period of 1 to 3 days. So do not waste time, follow our advice!

WORKSHOP: S'INSTALLER À MONTRÉAL (ONLY IN FRENCH)
If you are new to Montréal, come to this workshop (in French) to get advice on how to look for an apartment, transportation in the city, buying furniture, phone and internet services, health, food, banks and sports and leisure.
