Fees for international students

Graduate studies

If you are an international student, a differential fee will be added to your tuition. To benefit from a fee exemption, granted to a limited number of students, you must submit your exemption request to the organization responsible for managing exemptions for your home country.

You can learn about this on the Ministère de l'Éducation, du Loisir et du Sport du Québec (MELS) website, through the Exemption from Differential Tuition Fees.

The list of students who have been granted exemptions is sent to us by the MEL at the beginning of each semester.

Doctoral students

All students registered in the doctoral program at Polytechnique Montréal are exempt from the differential fee.
