Programs
The fall of 2005 marks the debut of Polytechnique’s newly revised undergraduate engineering programs (*), which have undergone a complete makeover (*).
- As of now, undergraduate programs at Polytechnique
- offer specialty courses right from the first year;
- make design a core element of engineering training;
- foster projects emphasizing integration and teamwork;
- have compulsory internships;
- have a marked international outlook.
Graduate students in turn can enjoy gaining research experience in modern laboratories that are among the best-equipped in Canada.
A unique new orientation program (*) will help new students assimilate and avoid common pitfalls during their first year. It will also provide them with valuable information and advice that will help ensure academic and professional success.
