Profession: Engineer
Did you know that 25% of Québec’s engineers trained at Polytechnique? Year after year, the job-placement rate for Polytechnique engineering graduates is an estimated 95% or more. The enticing salaries (*) and interesting jobs that lie ahead are important sources of motivation for undergraduates.
The compulsory paid internships (*) are equally motivating: through them, students have the chance to put their classroom learning into practice and test themselves in real-life situations.
Polytechnique’s unparalleled training, combined with the efforts of the school’s Placement Office, are a veritable end-of-studies job passport. Polytechnique graduates stand out for their superior design capacity, project management skills and ability to solve complex problems. And, as of fall 2005, all undergraduate programs will include a minimum four-month compulsory internship.
But why not hear it in the students’ and graduates’ own words?
