Research areas description

The Group specializes in the numerical simulation of fluid flows with various industrial applications:

  1. hydraulic turbines - 3D viscous turbulent flows;
  2. external aerodynamics - 2D viscous flows for high-lift, multi-element airfoils;
  3. high-power gas-driven circuit breaker;
  4. 2D unsteady compressible-flow electric arc interactions;
  5. reacting flows in industrial natural-gas burners and pollutant prediction;
  6. flow visualization;
  7. grid generation.
