SUGGESTED AMOUNT OF FINANCIAL AID (MAFS) FOR STUDENTS ENROLLED IN A RESEARCH-BASED PROGRAM

The MAFS (“montant d’aide financière suggéré”) aims to propose a minimum rate of financial aid to allow students enrolled in a research-based master’s or doctoral program to obtain sufficient financial support to permit them to devote themselves to their studies and research work.

  • Doctorate : $20,000 per year
  • Research-based master's : $17,500 per year

Financial aid IS NOT automatically given to all students. The research supervisor is responsible for deciding a student’s eligibility based on the quality of his or her academic records.
