Detailed description

The DORSAL laboratory in Ecole Polytechnique develops advanced free software tools for the performance analysis of distributed multi-core systems (http://lttng.org). This work is in cooperation with a large number of industrial participants. The resulting tools are used throughout the world, and are available in most Linux distributions, especially in embedded systems development. The financed Postdoc position aims to pursue the research work on trace analysis tools in order to model the state of large distributed systems (cluster, cloud). The trace analysis tools are used for both sophisticated analysis and visualization of the tracing, profiling and debugging data.
