Research topics

The Center brings together 58 researchers whose fields of research are complementary. These researchers are spread out through various institutions in Quebec. In order to maximize the research potential and its scientific, technological, social and economic impact for Quebec, the center defined four themes of development:

For each proposed topic, the research activities will focus on the various stages of new materials development. Efforts will be concentrated on the development of rheological models, new processing methods, the characterization of materials, the improvement of the mechanical properties, the design and the production of parts, the rehabilitation (recycling) of end-of-use materials and finally, on the rehabilitation of structural materials in Civil Engineering.
The objective is to produce new materials with superior chemical or mechanical properties compared to existing products at the lowest possible cost..
