A scientific breakthrough from Prof. Daniel Therriault is recognized as discovery of the year by Quebec Science

ElKhakani

DTherriaultIn collaboration with Professor El Khakani, of INRS, Professor Therriault's team has developed a UV-assisted Direct write fabrication process. The system involves the robotized extrusion of nanocomposites that rapidly polymerize under UV light to create 2D or 3D micro/macrostructures . This innovative and unique technique allowed the fabrication of micro-springs, organic conductive micro-coils and complex microscopic scaffolds.
