Group study rooms
Group study rooms are equipped with white boards, computers and LCD screens.
|You need to be a group of at least three (3) persons to use most of our group study rooms. The two exceptions are rooms M-7113 and M-7115, where groups of two (2) persons are allowed.|
Rules & Regulations
The library’s group study rooms can only be used by groups of 3 students or more, for a maximum of 4 hours. All members of a same group can NOT reserve a group study room more than once during the same day. Groups of 2 persons may use the room L-7615.
- If you arrive 15 minutes late or more, your group study room reservation is canceled and the room can be given to another group of students;
- The student, who reserves the room, must go to the Circulation Desk with at least two (2) other members of his/her group. All three (3) students must leave their Polytechnique ID cards;
- The student, who reserved the room, is responsible for bringing back the room key to the Circulation Desk and for ensuring that the group study room is left clean and tidy.

Groupe study islets
Located in section L-7 behind the Reference Service counter, are 4 islets available for team work.
2 islets are equipped with a round table surrounded by benches and fitted with a computer screen. They can accommodate up to 4 people.
2 islets are equipped with large screen. They can accommodate up to 6 people.
Multi-functional room (L-7615)
Located on the first floor of the library, this large room is available for group study. The furniture can be moved easily to facilitate dialogue. Room L-7615 can be used for groups of 2 or more.
