Consulting documents inside the library

Course reserves

Course reserves are documents that have been removed from circulation and held at the Service du prêt at the request of a professor. These may be library materials or personal documents like compiled transparencies.

Course reserves may be consulted on the Library premises for a maximum of three (3) hours.

You can consult the list of reserve items in the Library catalogue.

Dictionaries and reference materials (DICT and REF sections)

Numerous dictionaries, encyclopaedias and reference works are available to library users for use within the library. These are located near the Service de référence.

CD-ROMs (REF section)

The library has a dedicated computer for viewing certain CD-ROMs that, due to user license restrictions, cannot be loaned.

Videocassettes (DEPOT section)

Videocassettes are available at the Service du prêt. Viewing stations are located on the second floor, and do not need to be booked in advance.

Microfilms and microfiches (M-FILMS and M-FICHES sections)

Microform holdings are located on the library's second floor (L-8712), where you'll find microfilms, microfiches and a reader connected to a printer.
