Accessing Library resources from off-campus

Most of the Library's electronic resources are available exclusively to members of the Polytechnique community. To access these resources from off campus, you need:
- Internet access
- Proof of identity as a Polytechnique community member (student, professor, researcher or employee)
Commercial Internet service (Vidéotron, Sympatico, etc.)
-
Configure your computer for the Library's proxy server.
Once you access a Library resource, the proxy server will prompt you to identify yourself. This authentication will remain valid as long as you are a student or employee of Polytechnique.
Polytechnique professors and staff : To consult the Library's electronic collections when you use the VPN connexion, you need to configure the library proxy server in theVPN, since it will otherwise block Internet access.
